Transformation - instrument of Torture to object of Beauty

It is hard to believe that over a week has gone by since we knelt at the foot of our large wooden cross, standing forlorn in a stark and stripped sanctuary and left our large nails there, symbols of our burdens we had carried with us throughout Holy Week; now left at the feet of Jesus Christ.

By Sunday all had changed, because
He is risen indeed, alleluia!!

And we transformed that ugly, brutal symbol of torture, of execution. Everyone brought a flower to that same cross, decking it so beautifully, before it was taken outside and left high on the church bank for all to see as they drove or walked by.
