The Power of Money can Rescue our Planet

Reading the London Evening Standard a couple of nights ago - I saw a comment by David Nussbaum UK Chief Executive of World Wildlife Fund -

Power of Money can Rescue the Planet

"London uniquely placed," he writes, "to tackle climate change and not cause it." And he urges Londoners to all do their bit by considering their own investments, how their pensions and savings are deployed, and this responsibility extends, he says, to businesses, charities, educational institutions and so on. Now isn't that just what I wrote about in Healing this Wounded Earth - but we are seemingly just not ready yet for that message Mr Nussbaum.

Yes we have so much power in the way we spend our money.

But as Upton Sinclair once said,

“It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.”

(Just a note to my readers - if you have a Kindle this book, together with Why Religions Work, will be at the special promo price of just £0.99 or $ equivalent for the month of June only.)
